In 2017 the Marketing and Communications Manager at Capital/Walker’s was looking for ways to increase their online leads. The company had been experiencing a decline year over year in online leads and the usual marketing and sales efforts weren’t providing the results they’d had in the past.
After signing on with us, extensive market research was completed as well as a thorough business assessment before marketing campaigns were developed. Initial campaigns were designed to pull the brand out of online obscurity and differentiate them from competitors. Once a level of credibility had been established with the target persona campaigns driving online leads became the main focus. Since working with us they’ve seen an increase in market share and leads from all sources year over year. Have a similar problem that Walker’s/Capital did? Get in touch to start solving it!

How do you take a moving company’s campaign from zero to hero? Our “BEST MOVE EVER” campaign - a colourful rendition of everyone’s ideal move scenario in under 30 seconds. The first campaign component was to create a stunning landing page. Content included access to quotes, a simplified contact form and other information prospective customers were looking for. We designed a truck wrap so that brand recognition could be taken into the real world as well! Finally, a “retro cartoon” style video closed the loop by driving traffic from social media to the page. Walker’s/Capital wanted to show that they were experienced and reputable, while still remaining relevant to younger prospective clients. Influencer marketing perfectly satisfied this wish as it could provide a genuine perspective on their services, so we reached out to Tanya at Dans Le Lakehouse as an influencer who could do just that. Tanya used her characteristic charm in writing, and her love for teal and puppies in pictures, to promote Walker’s to her engaged blog and social media following. The results exceeded industry standards on Instagram and drove sales. Not sure how to get the most out of influencer marketing? We can help, get in touch!
Walker’s/Capital wanted to reach a new segment of their target audience while demonstrating that they are leading experts in their field. Our research came to show us that Pinterest is a platform for inspiration - and that was specifically where we could reach a new key segment: women who have shown intent by beginning the planning stages of their move. We started by looking into what type of moving-related queries they were searching for, and wrote blogs that answered those questions. For the pins themselves, our design decisions regarding imagery style, font and colour choice were also based on the content that this group was interacting with most frequently. From packing checklists to tips on saving money during an upcoming move, a mix of organic and boosted content resulted in increased awareness for their brand and new traffic to their website.
